KATHMANDU: vivo has launched the V70, the latest model in its V Series portrait lineup, featuring a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto camera.
The company said the V70 brings “professional‑grade telephoto precision” to the V Series, with a 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto sensor designed to deliver sharp detail at distance and improved low‑light performance. For the first time in the series, the phone supports 4K video recording at 60 fps and an AI Stage Mode that vivo said refines facial clarity and preserves fine detail across a 1x–10x–20x zoom range for concert and stage environments.
vivo also emphasised portrait capabilities, including ZEISS Multifocal Portrait and ZEISS Style Bokeh, which the company positioned as tools for expressive 85 mm close‑ups and greater focal versatility for portrait photography.
The V70 is built around an aerospace‑grade 6‑series aluminium alloy frame, with a flat display, rounded corners and a polished metallic camera module. The handset is offered in Dune Grey and Sandalwood Brown and features a 1.5K Ultra Clear OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
On power and durability, vivo equipped the V70 with a 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery and 90W FlashCharge support. The device is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, specifications the company said are intended to combine “lasting performance” with everyday resilience.
vivo said first sales are now live nationwide. The V70 is priced at Rs 83,999 for the 12/256 GB model and Rs 94,999 for the 12/512 GB variant, and is available through vivo retail stores and Daraz Online.
To mark the launch, vivo is offering several limited‑time incentives: the first 1,200 buyers will receive vivo Buds Air 3 free; the first 2,000 customers will receive a one‑time screen replacement and one‑time water damage protection, both valid for six months from the date of purchase; and four customers will win an EV scooter as a bumper prize. The company is also offering 0% EMI over 12 months.
