KATHMANDU: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), in collaboration with the Council for Integrative Vaidya Innovation and Collaboration (CIVIC) of India, will host the International AYUSH Conclave 4.0 (Nepal Edition) in Kathmandu from June 12 to 14.

Dr M M Quraishi, a representative of the organising body, said the three-day event will emphasise scientific sessions, research-based presentations and the exchange of international knowledge. He said individuals and institutions contributing to the AYUSH sector will be honoured with the 'AYUSH Legendary Award,' 'AYUSH Excellence Award,' 'AYUSH Rising Award,' and 'AYUSH Enterprise Award.'

Organisers plan to attempt a Legends World Record by conducting the largest clinical diagnosis session by AYUSH practitioners on a single platform, a press release said.

The conclave will bring together practitioners from Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. Sessions will also cover the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technologies in healthcare practices, the organisers said.

Rastrabhushan Chakubji, chairperson of the NCC’s Trade Fair Committee, said the event is expected to draw more than 200 delegates from over 10 countries, including participants from more than 20 Indian states.

Similar AYUSH conclaves have been held previously in Agra, Goa and Jaipur. This is the first time the event will take place in Nepal.
