KATHMANDU: Ncell Foundation and Project Shiksha have announced the continuation of the Ncell SEE Scholarships for 2026. The programme will provide financial support and connectivity to Secondary Education Examination (SEE) graduates across Nepal.

Under the initiative, Ncell Foundation will award scholarships to 100 SEE graduates this year to support their +2 education. Recipients will be chosen through a written examination held across seven provinces, followed by structured interviews intended to ensure fair access for students from all regions, with priority given to those who need financial assistance to continue their studies.

In addition to tuition support, scholarship winners will receive free unlimited data and voice services from Ncell for 12 months to help them stay connected to learning resources and opportunities.

“At Ncell Foundation, we believe education is a fundamental pillar for shaping Nepal’s future. Through this collaboration with Project Shiksha, we aim to empower and support young SEE graduates to pursue their dreams by ensuring access to quality education for their higher studies. This programme is a commitment to our belief that geography and economic circumstance should never determine youth’s future. With provincial-level examinations and a transparent selection process, we are reaching students who have the potential but lack the platform. We are helping to build a stronger and more inclusive tomorrow for Nepal,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director at Ncell.

Project Shiksha, a scholarship programme run by Hundred Group, will provide scholarships to a further 50 students, continuing an effort that began in 2017.

Last year, Ncell Foundation supported 50 students under the same programme; those beneficiaries are now in grade 12 at various academic institutions.

Ncell said the combined effort aims to widen access to higher secondary education and support students whose ambitions might otherwise be limited by financial constraints. Details on application procedures and examination schedules will be announced by the partners ahead of the selection process.
