KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, the authorised distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has opened bookings for the Proton e.MAS 5 and launched a campaign that allows customers to predict the vehicle’s official launch price and potentially buy it at their quoted amount.
The “Guess and Book the All‑New e.MAS 5 at Your Price” campaign invites participants to submit a predicted launch price via the campaign microsite, selecting their preferred variant and locking in a figure using a price slider. The prediction range for the e.MAS 5 Prime is Rs. 29.99 lakh to Rs. 34.99 lakh, while the e.MAS 5 Premium can be quoted between Rs 3.499 million and Rs 3.999 million.
Jagdamba Motors said five winners for each variant will be drawn from eligible entries; those winners will be able to purchase the chosen variant at the exact price they predicted, subject to the campaign’s terms and conditions. The company added that lucky winners will be selected from eligible bookings made through the website.
Bookings for the e.MAS 5 are now open with a minimum booking amount of Rs 100,000. Customers may complete bookings by paying via bank and sharing the document with a sales consultant, or by uploading their voucher on the website.
Developed by Proton in collaboration with Geely, the e.MAS 5 was recently named Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026 at Malaysia’s Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards. Jagdamba Motors said the model will be Nepal’s first rear‑wheel‑drive electric compact SUV in its segment and will offer five key highlights intended to deliver a premium electric driving experience.
The company launched the campaign as Nepal’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, with EVs accounting for a growing share of passenger vehicle sales, and expressed confidence that the e.MAS 5 will provide a new option in the country’s compact electric SUV segment.
