KATHMANDU: Shangrila Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, secured more than 300 vehicle bookings at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 held at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.

The bookings were recorded over the six-day event from August 11 to 16, and were driven largely by strong interest in the newly launched B03X electric SUV and the Leapmotor B10, which together attracted high visitor traffic at the brand’s exhibit throughout the expo.

The B03X emerged as one of the show’s main highlights, with visitors noting its segment-leading 145 kW motor, 53 kWh battery delivering a 505 km CLTC range, 510-litre boot capacity and Level 2 ADAS safety technology.

The Leapmotor B10 also drew an overwhelming response, aided by a recent strategic price reduction and special event offers. The revised pricing made the B10 an attractive value proposition in the premium electric vehicle segment and accounted for a major share of the expo bookings.

Following the event, Shangrila Motors thanked visitors and buyers for their trust and support and said its immediate focus is on swift vehicle deliveries and on expanding its sales and service network across Nepal.
