Agreement on Banking On Women Program between HBL and IFC

Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL), a leading commercial bank of Nepal, and International Finance Corporation (IFC), a World Bank Group, have entered into a mandate letter agreement on  April 11 in which IFC will be making available financial resources to provide financial access to ‘Banking on Women Program’ through HBL. Ashoke SJB Rana, CEO of HBL and M. Rehan Rashid, Country Head of IFC signed the agreement. The arrangement will facilitate women entrepreneurs to establish/run micro, small and medium scale enterprises.
