Upadhayay appointed CEO of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha

KATHMANDU: Bishnu Prasad Upadhayay has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha. The meeting of the Board of Directors held on May 16 appointed Upadhayay as CEO for the next four years with effect from May 17. Upadhayay has worked as deputy manager, manager, senior manager and CEO of Nepal Insurance Company for 21 years. He has also worked as a reinsurance expert and secretary at Nepal Reinsurance Company (Nepal Re) for four years. It is expected that the progress of Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha will reach a new height under the leadership of Upadhayay, who has completed his studies from the faculty of management to post-graduation. Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has its central office in Dhankutta Municipality-7, Dhankuta district, and its corporate office at Pushpalal Chowk, Budhiganga Rural Municipality-1, Morang district. The financial institution has been providing microfinance services to more than 20,000 families through 33 branch offices in 12 districts of Koshi Province. READ ALSO:
