KATHMANDU: Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation) concluded the Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) Nepal 2025 on Sunday. The two‑day capacity‑building workshop aimed to equip students and young professionals with knowledge of internet governance and ICANN policy.

Run in Nepal for the second time, in partnership with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), the workshop featured seminars, round-table discussions, simulation games, and mock ICANN conferences to provide participants with practical experience in policy debate and decision-making.
The opening session was attended by CAN Federation Senior Vice President Chiranjibi Adhikari, Internet Service Provider Association of Nepal (ISPAN) Chief Executive Officer Suvash Khada, Federation General Secretary Chandra Bilash Bhurtel, Treasurer Vikram Singh and ICANN representative Yash Agrawal.
