Kathmandu: Padma Jyoti Group, one of Nepal’s leading business conglomerates, has announced a collaboration with Rich’s India, reaffirming its shared commitment to advancing Nepal’s foodservice and culinary ecosystem.
The Group had organised a Product Demonstration Workshop in Padma Jyoti Bhawan on Tuesday, where Rich’s Chef Rakesh Kapur held an interactive demonstration session, preparing various desserts, including pineapple cake, blueberry cheese cake, chocolate ganache cake, milkshake, pastries, and coffee, among other delicacies, using RICH’s products.
“I think Nepal’s market has been growing by leaps and bounds. It has been really evolving. The infrastructures, bakeries, restaurants, and nightclubs have been growing, and there are lots to come,” said Sanjay Coutinho, Organised Trade General Manager of Rich.
“We were probably underpenetrated, and now, after partnering with Padma Jyoti Group, we will probably be able to unlock Nepal’s potential, which is tremendous. There are endless possibilities,” added Coutinho.
The collaboration is designed to serve modern retail, bakery, and hospitality segments with not only high-quality products but also technical guidance, live demonstrations, and ongoing support, ensuring long-term value creation for customers and partners.
Commenting on the collaboration, Pankaj Chaturvedi, Managing Director of Rich’s India, MENA, and Turkey, said, “Our collaboration with Padma Jyoti Group is built on a shared vision of elevating culinary standards through innovation, expertise, and strong local partnerships.”

“The last time I visited RICH’s office, I got to taste many of your products, which was almost enough to last me two days! So I decided to come late today as I am controlling my diet,” said Saurbh Jyoti, lightning the atmosphere.
He further stated that he got a chance to interact with the team and customers, and will focus on deeper customer engagement, chef enablement, and the introduction of global culinary trends tailored to the local market of Nepal.
Both companies will focus on enhancing customer experience through stronger chef engagement, hands-on technical training, and structured knowledge sharing.
The initiative aims to bring Rich’s global technical expertise and product application know-how closer to chefs, bakers, and foodservice operators across Nepal, enabling them to adopt global culinary trends, improve consistency, and elevate menu innovation.
