PSPP strategy contributes to nation's economic growth: FNCCI president

BHAIRAHAWA: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal said the Private Sector Protection and Promotion (PSPP) strategy unveiled by the government is capable of contributing to the nation’s economic growth. He made the remarks at an FNCCI Lumbini Province event in Bhairahawa on Saturday.

Welcoming the PSPP, Dhakal said the strategy introduced by the government, which aims to boost the confidence of the private sector, is a positive step. He described the move as a substantive response to long-standing demands from business groups.

“We were demanding a substantive action plan for the protection and promotion of private sector for a long time,” he said, adding that the government had addressed that concern. “We are thankful to the government for responding to our concerns.”
