SPG Automobiles launches new Omoda E5 Pro in Nepal

KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, the authorised distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo in Nepal, launched the new Omoda E5 Pro in Kathmandu today. The upgraded electric SUV builds on the success of the Omoda ES, of which more than 1,500 units are on Nepali roads.

Under the bonnet, the E5 Pro is powered by a 99 kW motor and produces 288 Nm of torque from a 50.7 kWh battery pack. SPG lists a WLTP range of 350 km and a ground clearance of 191 mm. The model rides on 18-inch wheels and includes a suite of comfort and convenience features aimed at premium buyers.

Exterior styling follows Omoda’s futuristic design language with a bold front fascia, aerodynamic lines and signature Phantom Wing taillights. Inside, the cabin offers an electric sunroof, upgraded interior materials, ambient lighting and next-generation comfort features, including a driver’s massage seat.

On the technology front, infotainment and audio are highlighted by a 15.6-inch widescreen display and an eight-speaker Sony sound system. Safety and driver assistance are prominent, with more than 19 ADAS functions and a 540-degree surround-view camera system.

Official pricing for the New Omoda E5 Pro is Rs 5.159 million for the single-tone finish and Rs 5.199 million for the dual-tone option. As an introductory offer, the first 50 customers can purchase the vehicle for Rs 4.999 million and receive one year of free Auto Plus Insurance.
