KATHMANDU: The all-new Leapmotor B03X premium electric SUV has arrived in Nepal, Shangrila Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, announced on Monday. The company said the vehicle will be formally unveiled at an exclusive launch event very soon, with bookings to open after the launch.
The B03X is built for urban mobility and varied road conditions in Nepal and pairs practical dimensions with advanced technology. The SUV is powered by a 145-kW motor and a 53-kWh battery, offering a CLTC driving range of 505 km. It provides a boot capacity of 510 litres and a spacious, premium cabin. Safety features include ADAS Level 2 driver assistance.
Shangrila Motors said Leapmotor has global backing from Stellantis, the automotive group that owns Maserati, Jeep and Peugeot. The announcement said Leapmotor is China’s leading startup in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector and has sold more than 1.6 million vehicles worldwide, with over 100,000 units sold in July alone. The brand operates a network of more than 1,700 sales and service points across more than 40 countries.
Shangrila Motors said guests will receive an exclusive first look at the B03X at the upcoming event.
